We are a family-owned and operated, full service automotive repair facility serving Nacogdoches County. The company was founded in 1967 by Bill Wells where he offered customers honest, quality auto repair from his Nacogdoches location. Since that time, we have grown into a 12 bay facility where we offer our customers the latest technology and equipment. Regardless if your vehicle is foreign or domestic feel secure that Wells Automotive has the right equipment to service or repair your car or heavy duty truck.
Wells Automotive also specializes in the repair of Heavy Duty Trucks, Buses, and Delivery Trucks. Paul Wells was born into the business and has been active in the daily activities since he was a small child. Paul was required to put in his dues starting with the entry level jobs and eventually he worked his way to the top as President of Wells Automotive. In 1976, Paul started working for the business on a regular basis as an employee. By his graduation in 1978, he was working full time as a mechanic alongside his father.
His commitment to the community is reflected in a variety of community-based service projects and nonprofit organizations associated with Nacogdoches County.

A warm smile and an honest, straight-forward demeanor is what you will find when you meet our Fleet Manager, Weston. His passion for the industry began at an early age and can be seen in his extensive knowledge and strong work ethic. With a Master Certification from Automotive Service Excellence, it’s easy to see why his experience and enthusiasm shine through. Weston is Bill’s grandson and Paul’s son.

The Wells Automotive story reaches back through nearly 100 years of service. Bill Wells’ passion started in the 1930’s with tractors on the family farm in Marques, Texas. After working at the Hudson car dealership in Houston, he decided to strike out on his own in 1954, and put down roots in Nacogdoches working with Pioneer Motor company right here in Nacogdoches. When the company decided to move in 1967, Bill opened Wells Automotive Service. Mr. Wells learned at an early age the value of a hard day’s work and what it meant to be honest and have integrity. The lessons he learned at a young age carried over with him when he began Wells Automotive Service. Those lessons have been lovingly passed on to his son, his grandson and other employees at Wells Automotive.
